Wheelwright carves stones and trees, large and small. He was recently honored with a year long exhibition of his stone heads and tree figures at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts. He is represented in New York by the Allan Stone Gallery. Wheelwright's summer studio in Vermont includes a bronze foundry created by and for members of the Boston Sculptors Gallery.
