Artist Opportunities
Boston Sculptors was one of the first galleries to relocate to Boston’s vibrant SoWa Arts district in 2004. Our spacious, state-of-the-art gallery is prominently located on the street level of bustling Harrison Avenue, ensuring high visibility and attendance. SoWa First Fridays and Sunday Open Markets bring a steady flow of local and international visitors. Our public relations team promotes exhibitions through Constant Contact email blasts to our audience of 2700+ recipients, as well as on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and our website and blog. The result is that the gallery often receives accolades from the press, including publications such as Artscope, Art New England, The Boston Globe, Sculpture Magazine and more.
Boston Sculptors Gallery is a landmark cooperative gallery, now offering three distinct opportunities to support a geographically diverse group of sculptors, from emerging artists to seasoned professionals, all working in a wide range of media. There is no fee to apply. Application is competitive and juried at all levels. We would love to see your work!
All artists regardless of age, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identification, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or physical disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Full Membership
Full Members exhibit their work in concurrent solo exhibitions, thoughtfully paired with another Full Member, every 24-30 months in our 2,000 square foot gallery, with an allotment of approximately 1,000 square feet per artist. Boston Sculptors Gallery Full Members actively exhibit as a group at premier offsite locations including museums, university affiliated galleries, and sculpture parks. Full Members’ work is featured for sale in our online store, and they are active participants in daily gallery operations, as well as programming and policy decision-making.

Associate Artists
Associate Artists are granted an annual group show with other Associate Artists (approximately 12-15 artists), in our 2,000 square foot gallery space. Associate Artists benefit from having their work featured for sale in our online store. Associate Artists enjoy ongoing website and social media presence with the gallery. As Associates are free from Full Member duties and responsibilities, this opportunity is perfect for artists living outside the Greater Boston area.

The LaunchPad
LaunchPad artists have the opportunity to install a solo exhibition of 3-dimensional work in our entryway gallery for a 5-week period. This is a one-time opportunity, giving artists seeking exposure in the Boston area a chance to be affiliated with a distinguished gallery in the heart of the SoWa arts district. The LaunchPad is open to all artists working in 3-dimensions, residing in the United States, with the ability to hand-deliver and pick up their work.
