Associate Artist

Associate Artist is an opportunity to benefit from collaboration with the gallery, our members, and community in the heart of the vibrant SoWa Arts District. Associate Artists are invited to feature their work in an annual group exhibition along with their fellow Associates. The Associate Artists group exhibition is promoted on the Boston Sculptors Gallery website, social media, and included in our bi-monthly email newsletter to 2700+ recipients, including 700+ art industry professionals. In addition, Associates have an ongoing presence on the Boston Sculptors Gallery website, allowing them to sell their work through the gallery’s online store and provide links to their own websites. A binder including all Associate Artists will be available in the gallery.

Associate Artist is open to all sculptors residing in the United States with the ability to hand deliver and pick up their work. (No shipment of artwork permitted.)

While Associates are required to assist with the exhibition and reception, they are free from duties, such as gallery sitting, committee work, or meetings, associated with Full Membership.

Representatives of Boston Sculptors Gallery curate and oversee installation of the Associate Artists exhibition. Associate artists provide all necessary installation hardware and pedestals, and comprehensive installation guidelines. Each artist is given wall space and adjacent floor space.

Application Deadline April 15, 2024. There is no fee to apply.
